Secured this particular hotel mainly because of the location. It was in 'Hotel Row' and reasonably priced. I also checked local crime stats and the area was extremely safe. I arrived early and was able to check into my room by noon. Staff was very nice. Room was a bit stinky but thankfully the window opened slightly and I was able to circulate some fresh air. I didn't mind because I was able to check in early and I'm sure the odor from previous guest was still lingering. Upon my return from dinner- my room smelled fresh as I also deoderized it. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was nice with a variety of items and drinks.

The hotel had the feel of being recently upgraded and felt modern and new. There was a pleasant breakfast area and a small store to buy snacks etc. Reception staff were exceptional. Unfortunately his name has escaped me but the gentleman running the reception was exceptionally helpful and when I complained about the excessive volume from the TV in a neighboring room, he immediately went and sorted it out. The hotel was close to many stores and restaurants.

Staff is very friendly especially the male night associate I apologize I forgot his name. He is African American he was just so friendly and making sure we were good and always checking to make sure if we needed anything. He definitely is the reason why we came back again for the second time in the past month. Blessings to him and I pray you guys bless him with a raise cause he really does deserve one!

The property is clean and always well-maintained. The staff is very friendly. The parking lot is well-lit. They have a really nice snack shop with a wide variety of options. I always feel like I am staying in a clean, comfortable, and friendly place. I stay here every time I have to stay in San Angelo.
